| Introduction |

Isostatic Pressing Technology & Engineering Center (IPTEC) is the department specialized in researching & developing and producing isostatic pressing technology and equipment, which is affiliated to China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group (the original CISRI).
IPTEC has begun to research & develop and produce cold isostatic press (CIP) since 1956 and hot isostatic press (HIP) since 1972; then at the beginning of 1991, it developed sinter hot isostatic press (Sinter-HIP). It has been provided nearly two hundred of CIP, HIP and Sinter-HIP of various performances for the customers both at home and abroad, and the equipments were widely used in the moulding, sintering and densification of the high-temperature alloy, titanium aluminum alloy, carbide alloy, high performance ceramics, powder metallurgy and composite materials. In addition, the equipments were widely applied in the fields of connection, diffusion welding of materials.
In the process of research & development for years, IPTEC has set up a highly qualified research & development team constituted by the elder, middle-aged and young members, formed a complete set of technical specification for designing and manufacturing isostatic pressing equipment, established a series of manufacturing management systems, and has passed ISO9000 quality system.
